Founders
Bread & Roses was set up by Olivia Head, Sneh Jani-Patel and Liv Wilson in 2016. The three were motivated to launch the charity after meeting a group of inspiring refugee and asylum-seeking women and learning about the challenges they faced rebuilding their lives here in the UK. Today, Olivia and Sneh lead the board of trustees and Liv leads all our floristry activity.
Yolanda O’Leary
Trustee
Yolanda has 10 years experience working with global brands in the private sector across branding, content, marketing and retail strategy. Yolanda's approach is ethical, sustainable and purpose driven, guiding brands to achieve a positive social and environmental impact.
Lucie Parker
Trustee
Lucie has spent her career working for charitable and non-profit organisations, specialising in gender equality. She is currently a Programme Operations Manager at the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, an NGO dedicated to safeguarding human rights and reversing the rising tide of polarisation, extremism and disinformation worldwide.
Dr Kavita Dattani
Trustee
Kavita is an academic researcher with expertise in digital technologies, gender and sexuality, and cities. She previously worked in programme management, research and fundraising roles with charities in the UK and India.
